Zani,Volga V. of Marshfield, August 4, 2012 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Werter Zani. Loving mother of Maria Hebert of Marshfield. Loving grandmother of Jason and his wife Joanne, Julie and John Hebert. Daughter of the late Gino and Victoria (Perini) Abbondanza. Volga was predeceased by a sister, Rita Trevisani and brother, Dante Abbondanza. Survived by sisters in law Sheila Zani of Marshfield and Eileen Sealund of Marshfield as well as several nieces and nephews. Volga has been a resident of Marshfield since 1956. She was a former secretary to the Chief of Police in Marshfield for many years. A visiting hour will be held at the MacDonald Funeral Home 1755 Ocean St. Marshfield Rte 139 on Thursday, August 9, 2012 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Christine's Church 1295 Main St. Rte 3A at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Winslow Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions in Volga's memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
