Banfill, Walter H., of Marshfield, passed away on April 8, 2017 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn (McPherson) Banfill, Walter leaves his children Douglas Banfill and his wife Kim of Costa Mesa, California, Roger Banfill and his wife Mary of Marshfield, and Wendy Strategos of Tigard, Oregon. Walter is predeceased by his sister, Ernestine Litcof and his parents, Ernest and Florence (Simms) Banfill.

Walter was born in New Hampshire and was a WWII Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He worked in the logging industry in New Hampshire then went on to form his own company, Banfill Engineering. Walter was the owner/operator of Banfill Engineering for more than 40 years, working right up to his passing.

A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the North Community Church, 72 Old Main Street, Marshfield. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery in West Roxbury.
