Walter J. Burum, Jr. (Jack) passed away on October 10, 2022 at the age of 83. Jack's greatest joy in life was his family. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy (Dottie) for 64 years. Loving father of Walter (John) (wife Mary), Rhonda, Rich (wife Kathy). Caring Grandpa & PopPop to Ryan, Leann, Jack, Kevin, Sam, Rachael, & Max

Jack served proudly for the US Navy. Upon completion of his service, he went on to have over a 20-year career as a Teamster. From there he began a career as a house painter.

Jack was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting & fishing. He was a lifetime member of The Marshfield Rod & Gun Club. He also spent countless hours working on his cars and dirt bikes. He was an avid reader of history and science.

Jack will live on in our hearts and will be forever missed.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday October 18, 2022 from 9:30 -11:00 at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. Following the visitation, he will be laid to rest in The Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
