Walter Lee Walker, Junior -- longtime resident of Marshfield, MA -- passed away on the morning of June 17, 2013 leaving behind his loving and devoted wife of more than 55 years, Janet; his five children Larry, Kris, Kendall, Kai and Robin; and his eight grandchildren Kristin, Ami, Melanie, Jordan, Joshua, Kylie, Miles and Kai. Walter served in the U.S. Air Force for more than 20 years in a variety of locations including Korea, Guam, Vietnam and Germany. After leaving the Air Force Walter worked for many years at Digital Equipment Corporation from where he later retired. Family, friends and neighbors will all sorely miss this wonderful, reliable and dependable man. A wake will be held at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., Rte. 139 in Marshfield on Friday, June 21, 2013 from noon - 2 p.m. followed by a memorial service at the same location from 2 - 3 and then a collation at Marshfield Tavern at 3:15.
