June 19, 2024
Warren A. (Terry) Stebbins, III, 54, passed away on June 19, 2024, in Marshfield, MA. Warren, known to all as Terry, was born in Boston, MA. He was a professional musician and epic father and husband.
Terry was a one-of-a-kind person who loved nature, music, humor, and human connection. Whether on the slopes, in the water, on stage, or at home, Terry seized every opportunity to bring out the best in others and enjoy the present moment. His greatest source of satisfaction and pride was being the father of Poppy and Koa and the husband of Megs.
Terry's adventurous spirit took him on a lifelong journey around the world, including stops in Scituate, California, Wellfleet, Big Sky, Hawaii, Long Beach Island, and eventually back to Marshfield. There, he thrived, connecting with the surf and skateboarding community as his extended Ohana.
Terry was a true warrior in battling his health issues, drawing his greatest strength from the love and support of dear friends and family, both near and far. This support was a game-changer, fueling his stoke and inspiring all who came into contact with him.
He is survived by his wife Megan and children Poppy and Koa, mother Jane (Condon), and siblings Kristen (Dave) Lesser of Milton, MA, Bill (Jenn) Stebbins of Nashville, TN, Caroline (Dan) Noschese of Glen Ellyn, IL, and John (Larry) Stebbins of Watertown, MA. Terry was preceded in death by his father Warren and sister Sarah. He is also survived by numerous beloved nephews and nieces.
A memorial service will be held at Saint Ann by the Sea Catholic Church, 591 Ocean Street in Marshfield on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 10:00 a.m., followed by a celebration of life at Levitate Backyard, 1871 Ocean Street in Marshfield from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. In addition, a celebratory paddle out will take place on Sunday, June 23rd, gathering at 8:30 and paddle out at 9:00 a.m. sharp at Rexhame Beach in Marshfield.
