Wendy Ann McCabe, age 71 of Marshfield, passed away on January 2nd 2022. She joins her husband, Joseph Kevin McCabe, who passed away two years ago. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend to all.
Wendy was born on September 28th 1950 in Wellesley Massachusetts to Donald "Red" Wallace and Virginia (Henry) Wallace. She grew up with three siblings. She is survived by Donald Wallace Jr and his wife Cobi Wallace, as well as her sister, Jeanne Wallace. Joseph Wallace, her youngest brother and "partner in crime" unfortunately passed away in 2007. She had one grandchild, Brayden Patrick McCabe. She leaves behind several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Wendy is survived by two children, Joseph Kevin McCabe Jr. and Bonnie Jeanne McCabe, both of Marshfield. She is also survived by many friends, who she never hesitated to make her family. She was a firm believer of the family you choose, and will be loved and missed by many.
Through the years Wendy worked in several customer service positions. She started as a teenager, living every young girl's dream, working at The Boston Doll Company. She put smiles on the faces of children giving them their first barbies, all while admiring and collecting Madame Alexander dolls. Even after retiring, she went back to work at The Venus in Brant Rock. She always had a smile for her regulars.
Services will be private, but donations in her name would be much appreciated to The American Cancer Society, online at https://www.cancer.org/
