William A. Ducharme, passed away July 31st, 2017 at the age of 54, after complications from a recent surgery.  Bill was the loving husband of Natalie (Ricciuti) Ducharme of 27 years and loving father of Jonathan and Elizabeth "Libbie" both of Marshfield.  Bill was the cherished son of Alma and the late Arthur Ducharme. He was the dear brother of Cheryl Kent and her husband Thomas of Hanover, Linda Preciado and her husband Michael of California, John "Jed" Ducharme and his wife Nancy of Braintree and Laura Hermanson and her husband Gary of Middleboro.  He was also the dear son-in-law of John and Anita Ricciuti of Quincy and brother-in-law of John and Lori Ricciuti of Norwell, Michael and Maureen Ricciuti of Milton and Christopher and Annette Ricciuti of New Jersey. Bill was also the loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Bill was a 1981 graduate of Hanover High School. He proudly served many years on the Hanover Fire Department as a call fire-fighter.  He owned and operated the Tedeschi Food Shop franchise in Cohasset Village.  Bill was a 10-year member of the Green Harbor Yacht Club where he co-organized the annual fishing tournament for 5 years, raising funds for breast cancer research and the scholarship program.  He loved landscaping and enjoying the wildlife in the area.  He was devoted to his family and enjoyed traveling, fishing or just being together.

Visiting hours will be held of Friday, August 4, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Route 139) in Marshfield.  Services will conclude with a Funeral Service at the funeral home on Saturday, August 5 ^, , 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at the Couch Cemetery in Marshfield.
