Ash, William O. of Marshfield July 14, at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Mary M. (Callahan) Ash. Loving father of Joanne Ash and her husband Patrick Pickup of Marshfield and Judi Lemoine and her husband Kevin of Norwell. Dear grandfather of James Hutchinson, and William and Daniel Lemoine. Brother of the late Edward, John, George and Frederick Ash. William was raised in South Boston and moved to Marshfield in 1963. He retired from the Boston Police Department after 37 years of dedicated service. After his retirement William worked at the South Boston Postal Annex for many years. William served in the US Navy during WW II. Visiting hours will be held at the MacDonald Funeral Home 1755 Ocean St. Rte 139 Marshfield on Tuesday July 17, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Wednesday, July 18, at 9:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St Christine's Church 1095 Main St Marshfield at 11:00 am.
