William S. Brady of Humarock passed away on November 14, 2017 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Beatrice (Brady) Brady; dedicated uncle of Anne Marie LaPuma of Weymouth, Karen Dargan of Weymouth, Thomas Dargan and his wife Patricia of Florida, Geralyn McShane and her husband Kevin of Canton, Patricia Dargan of Brighton, Madelyn and the late Kevin Dargan, James Brady, Robert Brady, Paul Brady, Michael Brady, and the late Stephen Brady; great-uncle of Jaime, Thomas, Kerri, Kelly, Lindsey, Brendan, Matthew, Megan, and the late Michael; great-grand uncle of Will, Ella, Hayden, Danica, Thomas, James and Michaela; brother of the late Paul Brady.
William was born and raised in Boston and graduated from Boston English High School, where he is in the Baseball Hall of Fame. He also attended Holy Cross. A proud Veteran of the U.S. Navy, William made his home in Humarock since the early 1960's, and had a successful career as a Salesman for Texaco Oil Company.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) in Marshfield. Funeral procession from the funeral home on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. for a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in St. Christine's Church, 1295 Main Street (Rte. 3A) Marshfield. Burial in the Evergreen Cemetery in Brighton will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 20, 2017.
