William F. "Butch" Scheufele, III, of Duxbury, passed away on April 1, 2018 at the age of 69. Beloved husband of Kathleen (Vaughan) Scheufele and father of Jessica Ward and her husband Jacob of Maryland; he leaves two grandsons, Grayson and William, a brother, Stephen, and sisters RuthAnne and Martha.

Butch was a kind man with a generous heart. He was a businessman, a loving father and husband, and a devoted Gee to his two grandchildren. He will be remembered as a hail-fellow well met, a quick and generous smile followed always by a gregarious laugh. Butch was known by many and beloved by all.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, April 8, 2018 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Ret. 139) in Marshfield. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 9, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Holy Family Church, 601 Tremont Street, Duxbury. Burial will be in the Mayflower Cemetery, Duxbury.
