Fitzgerald, William H. ?Fitzy?, 54 years of age, of Marshfield, MA, formerly of Dorchester, passed away peacefully at home, October l2, 2011. Loving husband of Julie (Woodford) Fitzgerald. Devoted father to Brittany Fitzgerald and Shayne Fitzgerald. Brother of Kathleen and Arthur Stratford, Mary and John LaForce and Edward and Chris Fitzgerald. He is survived by many, many loving nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law. He was a mechanic employed by the MBTA and is a member of the Machinist's Local 254. Fitzy (Uncle Bill) will live on in the memory and hearts of his family and friends as a loving, kind and gentle man who would always be the first to help friend and stranger alike. Among his favorite pastimes were riding his Harley and cheering on his beloved Patriots.
