Follen, William J. "Bill", of Humarock, passed away on December 29, 2015 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of the late Ann (Hogan) Follen. Dear father of Jim Follen and his wife Kate of Franklin and the late Lynn Hines. William leaves his son in-law, John Hines and his grandchildren Luke Follen, Kelly Hines and Matt Hines.

Bill was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served honorably during the Korean War. Married and a father of two, he continued his service with a 25-year career in the federal government, retiring as a division chief of the Agency for International Development (AID) in 1986. In retirement, Bill worked as a seasonal H&R Block tax preparer for 22 years while enjoying time with his family, attending local soccer matches, and making a long-awaited trip to Ireland.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 10:00 AM in St. Mary's Cemetery, Meetinghouse Lane, Scituate.
