Krause, William J. "Bill" of Marshfield, passed away on October 6 at the age of 87. Dear brother of Edward Krause of Quincy, Irene Krause of Revere and Diana Ristow of Wisconsin. Son of the late John and Augusta (Baise) Krause. Dear friend of Bruce and Sherrill Pratt and James Taylor. Bill was born in Boston. He proudly served in the US Navy during WWII. Bill was a long time Secretary Treasurer of Local 1242, AFSCME at the MDC. He also served a great number of years on the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Drinking Water Supply Facilities as the State Labor Council Representative. Bill was a member of VFW Post 1822 in Plymouth, American Legion Post 40 in Plymouth, DAV Post 72 in Plymouth, AMVETS 1996 of Massachusetts and the Marshfield Elks 2494. A funeral procession will leave from the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St, Rte. 139 in Marshfield on Thursday, October 16 at 9:45 a.m. for an Interment in the MA National Cemetery in Bourne at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers contributions in Bills memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
