McDonough, William V., of Marshfield, Oct. 27, at the age of 70. Husband of the late Marcia(McGinn) McDonough. Dear father of Diane Balogh and her husband Larry of Indiana, William V. McDonough of Marshfield, Kevin C. McDonough and his wife Lisa of Marshfield, Michael McDonough and his wife Christine of Marshfield. Loving grandfather of Katie and Ben Balogh, Kayla, Riley, Jake and Tori McDonough and Nolan McDonough. Brother of Robert McDonough of Marshfield and Mary Campbell of Cambridge. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. William was raised in Medford. He graduated from Malden Catholic High School, University of MA Amherst, and Suffolk Law. He had an insurance business and legal practice in Medford and Marshfield. William was the developer of Galway Bay Cottages in Galway, Ireland. He was a member of the Marshfield Yacht Club and enjoyed boating. Funeral from the MacDonald Funeral Home, l755 Ocean St., rte. l39, Marshfield, Wednesday, Nov. 3 at 8 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Christine's Church, l295 Main St., Marshfield at 9 a.m. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in the Couch Cemetery, Marshfield.
