William F. Schuchard of Marshfield, passed away unexpectedly on November 17, 2021. Beloved father of Maxwell and Jacob Schuchard and former spouse of Elizabeth Judge of Naples, FL. He was brother to Michele and husband Todd Kelley of Halifax, Chrisanne and husband Mitch Wilson of Plymouth, Amy and husband Jamie Carey of Pownal, VT, and Dan Schuchard of Murray, UT. Son to stepmother, Patricia Schuchard, of Marshfield. Predeceased by his parents Walter Schuchard, Jr. of Marshfield, Penny Romano of Weymouth and aunts Peggy Soltez and Nancy Schuchard. Survived by uncles Robert, David and Peter Schuchard and step aunt June O'Neill. Nieces and nephews, Elicia Kelley, Blake Carey, Angela Kelley, Evan Wilson, Nolan Wilson and many cousins.

Since college Bill has been a leading software and firmware engineer & entrepreneur involved in many advances in the technology industry. He loved creating and doing things that had never been done before. He worked at several startup and successful companies including, New Oak, (first start up), Bay Networks, Wavesmith Networks, Ciena, Affirmed Networks, and Microsoft. His next passion was speakers as he had a deep appreciation of music.

Bill had many hobbies - matchbox car racing, building speakers, evaluating and writing articles of his reviews of sound system products, mountain biking, fishing, running, and cooking. He enjoyed walking the beach and viewing the peaceful beauty of the ocean. Bill was also a very talented artist with beautiful sketches and paintings treasured by many. He had a wonderful silly side and sense of humor, demonstrated by his good natured pranks on family, friends and colleagues. If you were well liked by Bill, you were fair game.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and will be followed by a Memorial Service from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield.
