Constance Miner Hawley of Marshfield passed away peacefully at South Shore Hospital on May 26, 2020 of heart failure complicated by the corona virus.

She is survived by her husband Peter and her three children, Peter Jr. of Sydney, Australia, Ann Hadley of Glastonbury, CT, and Christopher of Kingston, MA. Constance also leaves behind 6 grandchildren, Katie, Wesley, Claire, Julia, Sophia, and Abby.

Connie was born and grew up in Garden City, NY and graduated from high school there. She also graduated from Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont.

Connie was a longtime employee of State Street Bank as a mutual fund accountant manager in North Quincy and Boston. She was a very active member of North Community Church for more than 40 years. Connie was also a board member of the Community League and Sewing Seeds. She enjoyed quilting with a group of friends for many years. Connie was an avid reader and loved boating in the North River.

Connie will be missed very much by all who knew her.

A Memorial Service and reception will be held at a later date when it is safe to congregate.

Donations will be welcomed to a new scholarship fund in her name, care of North Community Church, P.O. Box 2, Marshfield Hills, MA 02051-0002.
