Helen (Arsenian) Gallagher of Plymouth, formerly of Marshfield, passed away on April 10, 2022 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Andrew J. Gallagher, she was the dear mother of Andrew J. Gallagher, Jr. and his wife Mary of Ft. Myers, Florida, Kit A. Gallagher of Jacksonville, NC, and Kelly A. Gallagher of Plymouth and cherished grandmother of Colin and Meaghan, Linda, Melissa and Jessica, Shannon and Brian, and great-grandmother of Everett and Graham, Wesley, Alexander, and Jaxton, and Lily, James, Ryan, Brandon, and Gavin. She was predeceased by a sister, Anna Annese.

Helen was born in Boston and grew up in Chelsea and Milford, and graduated from Milford High School. During WWII she worked at the South Boston Army Base. She and Andrew enjoyed camping and traveling up and down the east coast and Canada in their motor home. Later in life came cruises to the Caribbean and extensive trips to Asia and Europe, but Helen mostly enjoyed spending her time with family.

Services will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield, where family and friends are invited to attend the wake from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Helen will be laid to rest in the Couch Cemetery, Union Street, Marshfield.
