Nunzio J. Benevento of Marshfield passed away suddenly on Saturday February 10, 2024, at the age of 82. Formerly of Chelsea, he was a teacher and coach at the Beachmont School in Revere. He was the beloved husband of Marguerite Benevento and loving father to John Benevento and his wife Tanya, Joe and his wife Heather, Robbie and his wife Jennifer, and Michael and his wife Natasha, and stepfather to Debbie Bostwick and her husband David of Pembroke, Paul Webber and his wife Stacy and Jeff Webber and his wife Lisa of Marshfield. Dear brother of Joseph Benevento and his wife Maryann of Florida, he was the best grandfather to his grandchildren Jack, Sophia, Joe, Nick, Luca, Jenna, Ali, Molly, Joe, Colby and Garret.

Nunzio was a simple man full of knowledge and wisdom. He had a heart of gold, a loving soul, and gentle way about him, always willing to help those who needed it. He enjoyed outside activities, working in the yard, attending his grandchildren's sporting events, or just grabbing takeout and sitting by the fish pier with Grammy of 35 years together. He was a loving husband, caring father, brother, uncle, friend and the greatest grandfather. Nunzio will be truly missed by all but never forgotten.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, he loved his cat Midnight and would like any donations in his memory to be made to your local Humane Society.
