Peter E. Hanlon of Plymouth passed away on September 4, 2022 at the age of 77. He was the beloved husband of Claire (Gilbert) Hanlon; loving father of Traci Baker (husband Corey) of Weston, CT, Erica Hanlon (partner Phil O'Sullivan) of Weymouth, and step-father of Jeremy Alosa ( wife Julie) and Joy Gangloff (husband Michael), of Honolulu, Hawaii; cherished grandfather of Aiden, Lexi, Jason, Ava, Alana, and Xavier. Dear son of the late George E. and Anne (Maier) Hanlon, he is predeceased by a brother, Brian Hanlon.

Peter greeted people in his Milton;s style jackets and ties with a smile for 23 years at Isaac's Restaurant in Plymouth, then on to 42 North in Plymouth.

Peter loved the beach , photography, and vintage cars. He had a passion for reading and could be found many a morning on the Plymouth waterfront with his book, in his trusty Jeep. He was a "Man of Many Hats" who loved his family and friends, of which he had many. Peter was a truly good man. Last Flight Out.

A Celebration of Life Reception will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post 40, 199 Federal Furnace Road in Plymouth, MA 02360.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Peter's memory can also be made to the American Legion Post 40 at the address above.
